Empowering Communities Through Health and Nutrition Initiatives
The African Hebrew Development Agency (AHDA) is a registered non-governmental organization based in Israel, with active operations in Ghana and Kenya. AHDA provides technical assistance, training, and consultancy in essential areas of human development and capacity building, including preventive health, organic agriculture, rural development, water resource management, environmental stewardship, and related disciplines.
AHDA is committed to empowering communities in practical, sustainable ways that enable people to gain immediate control over the resources and knowledge needed to secure the essentials of life. This approach fosters meaningful participation in both economic and social development at the community level.

Ghanaian Regenerative Health & Nutrition Program (RHNP)
In partnership with AHDA, the Ministry of Health of Ghana launched the Regenerative Health and Nutrition Program (RHNP) as a national initiative to shift the country’s healthcare focus from curative treatment to preventive lifestyle practice.
Rather than waiting for illness to arise from degenerative lifestyles, RHNP equips citizens with the knowledge, tools, and services needed to regenerate and maintain their health through informed daily choices.
The program promotes a practical, balanced lifestyle free from alcohol and substance abuse, and limits excessive intake of fat, sugar, and salt. RHNP services — including nutritious vegan meals, simple exercise routines, and colon cleansing — are made accessible through both public and private sector service points.
RHNP is built upon five foundational principles:
- Regenerative diet
- Personal hygiene
- Physical activity and exercise
- Rest and recreation
- Environmental cleanliness
These principles collectively support long-term health, wellness, and longevity. RHNP has drawn international attention as a pioneering public health model, with several nations observing Ghana’s progress closely.

African Boreholes Initiative Ltd. (ABI)
The African Boreholes Initiative Ltd. (ABI), a partnership with Kenyan nationals, operates both as a commercial enterprise and a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to clean water and sustainable agricultural solutions across Kenya.
Since 2007, ABI has delivered reliable, cost-effective borehole drilling, pump installation, and water management services to homes, schools, hospitals, and communities affected by prolonged drought conditions.
Access to clean water is foundational to life and health. Water is medicine.

Organic Agriculture Division & The Organic Farmer’s Kit
In 2012, ABI expanded into organic agriculture through a partnership with a leading agriculture in Kenya, launching the Organic Farmer’s Kit. Each kit includes:
- Greenhouse structure
- Drip irrigation system
- Water storage tank
- Certified organic inputs
Every kit is supported by a comprehensive agro-support contract, where ABI’s organic specialists work directly with farmers to maximize yield potential and ensure best practices in organic cultivation.
The Organic Farmer’s Kit enables Kenyan farmers to produce high-quality, chemical-free fruits and vegetables while accessing local, regional, and international markets at premium value. This ensures that families across Kenya have access to safe, nutritious food grown with integrity.
Organic agriculture is central to long-term soil preservation, environmental stewardship, and food security. It reflects a commitment to both the land and the communities that depend upon it.
As AHDA and ABI uphold in practice:
“When you love the land, the land will love you in return.”
